This page is devoted to conversations about Digital-Age Learning Environments.

Karly's goal is to use technology as a means of communication with students, families, peers, and the community (Ms. Borrud's blog, Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, Shutterfly, etc.)

Sue's goal is to collaborate with Gina B. and Laurie K. to set up a Skype session with a children's author and the students after teaching about that author and his/her work.

Margi's goal: to explore the uses of Evernote – both for myself professionally and with students. I plan to have my Freshman Advisory create accounts and try out the possibilities. Once I gather some teacher and student uses, I will share with the group.

Maggie's goal is to create a Google site for her classes by the end of the year.

My goal is to transfer the current LMC site to google sites (and begin adding NorskiGuides to supplement it).
-Laura Shucha

Caryn's goal - move my current district website to a new website (using the new software the District will be using). This website is used to communicate to students and parents. I also hope to use this new knowledge to help other teachers develop their own website.

Elisa's Goals:
1- Use Evernote for student portfolios to monitor their progress throughout the year
2- Switch over my website from the old system to using Google Sites
3- Try to find another group/class/person with whom we can Skype and converse in Spanish

Cody's goal:
To set up a new DMS special education website for the 5/6 side of the building.

Kate's goal:
To use Animoto for quarter book projects--trailers to present to the other students.
